Are you looking for a crash course before traveling to another country? We can offer private instruction for anyone! Whether it is short cultural and language courses, group business trip preparation, or individual travel preparation, we have the program for you!
What we offer through our classes:
Remember, twenty hours of instruction can give you the tools to make travel arrangements (hotel, restaurant, and car reservations), order meals, and make purchases in a foreign land. If, on the other hand, fluency is what you want to achieve, you will need to make a significant time commitment. According to the Foreign Service Institute (where U.S. Foreign Service personnel train), a motivated student needs (on average) 480 hours of classroom instruction to reach a working level of proficiency in Spanish. A middle ground also exists. An advanced proficiency level can be reached in a relatively short time, if classroom instruction is reinforced with tools such as CDs, books, and practice outside of class time.
Email us at makaj@cultural.org and we can put together a summary course package surrounding the culture.

Comments from our Clients: "My husband and I spent 10 days in Spain, and were able to communicate in Spanish, thanks to Rosa Maria, after only five months of classes." Judy Brown, Spanish student. "I am very happy with my language lessons with Lolita. Shes a wonderful teacher, energetic and enthusiastic. Id like to continue my lessons with her for an indefinite period." Michelle Fuqua, Russian student. "I appreciated the teachers patience with me. The one-on-one [instruction] works faster than the traditional classroom and keeps me constantly at attention." Andrea Jones, Japanese student. "We arranged this class for business reasons, and will be moving to Pusan, Korea this year. The size of the class made instruction very personal. We enjoyed the variety of things we did, i.e. going to a Korean restaurant, a Korean bookstore and a Korean grocery." Korean for Business students, K2 corporation. "The teacher had great knowledge about the Italian language and was very informative. She comes to our home with very well-prepared lesson plans. Though we just wanted 10 hours before our trip to Italy, she is doing a great job and is very patient with us." Judy Sambataro, private family group Italian lessons. "What I liked best about the class was the organization, friendly attitude, and focus on important areas for my travels. This was the best instructor that Ive ever had in all my years of study". Wayne Kinslow, Spanish student. Reasons
